Sealvalve Cleaner:

Sealvalve Cleaner is a formulated multi-ingredient, semi-fluid combination of penetrants and lubricants designed to dissolve and clean residual gums, laquer deposits, inert solids and corrosion deposits that make valves hard or impossible to operate. By using Sealvalve Cleaner a valve may be made operational without cutting the product or disassembling the valve. Sealvalve Cleaner is not a permanent lubricant or sealant, but is compatible with most lubricants. Sealvalve Cleaner is non-flammable and contains graphite for added lubricity. Pump required quantity of Sealvalve Cleaner into the Valve seat using a High Pressure Hand or Air Operated Sealant Injection Pump. If Sealvalve Cleaner cannot be injected, replace the Sealant Injection Fitting with a Sealvalve Sealant Injection Fitting during the next possible Plant or Pipeline shutdown, as fitting may be plugged due to dried out material. Try to inject Sealvalve Cleaner again after replacing the Sealant Injection Fitting. If the valve stem can be moved slightly, it is proof that you are obtaining results. Work the stem back and forth to distribute the Sealvalve Cleaner in the Valve seat face and inject additional Sealvalve Cleaner during this movement. If on the first attempt to move the valve the results are negative, repeat the process of injecting the Sealvalve Cleaner into the Valve, wait about an hour and try to move the stem again. Although not all valves are recoverable with Sealvalve Cleaner, a popular maintenance suggestion is the periodic use of Sealvalve Cleaner. By utilizing this suggestion, many operators have found that valves remain operable through years of usage under severe conditions. When the valve is again operational, inject the recommended Sealvalve Synthetic Lubricant / Sealant for the particular service of the valve.
